Mi da Belizean...legally, spiritually, morally and with all my heart! "Weh di sweet yu" is one of my favorite Kriol sayings and I love the many uses of the phrase. It means "What's making you smile?" and is many times used as a flirt. In addition, with part of my business being baked goods...the play on the word sweet just made sense!

People from all walks of life speak Belizean Kriol in this tiny, diverse country: Creoles, Mayas, Chinese, Mennonite, Spanish, Garifuna...and everyone in between.
In 2018 I survived a physical assault while on duty. I now have a Traumatic Brain Injury, Neuro-otologocal condition, and host of other diagnoses.

In my journey adapting to life, I realized that I perceive the world completely differently. I developed new skills and am extremely good at them! Despite sounding like "The Wrong Missy", it's true!
As a Disabled Woman, "-isms" are part of my daily reality. Life is difficult enough. A respectful, inclusive environment is the core of this business, and learning conversations are always welcome. You have the right to feel safe!

Frangipanis are my favorite flower in Belize, and I often stop on my beach walk to pick one to wear in my hair.
